Fifteen years ago, the gaming community was pleasantly surprised by the release of a videogame: The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Fast forward to the year 2015, and, what happens?
Zelda: Majora's Mask art director Takaya Imamura shares a few words about designing the mask in an interview.
NE: "Today, we compare Zelda: Majora's Mask N64 vs 3DS and ask which one you prefer. Plus reasons to prefer each game."
If you're going to do a comparison article, at least put some comparison photos in it. The rest of the article is written well enough.
The best Legend of Zelda games experiment and tackle new grounds for the industry. These are the essential titles in the series you need to play.
I am a huge Zelda fan and love them all, but for me Ocarina Of Time is the greatest and my second all time favourite game after Final Fantasy VII.
Oh gee can't imagine what Number 1 is
....
A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker etc is better than Breath of the Wild.
Majora's Mask still holds as my favorite to this day, despite being the black sheep of the series.
I love them all, but Wind Walker, Link to the Past and Minish Cap are my favorites
A lame complaint in an industry where games like TLOU can get critical acclaim for its own remaster so shortly after the original released.
Please bring up your complaints to those that abuse remasters before they're due, before complaining about Nintendo bringing back a classic.
Also, do a little investigating into the differences present between this and the original before saying it's "the exact same game".
New Zelda games don't just pop into existence so easily, in any case; even A Link Between Worlds, which used a LOT of pre-existing ideas, still took quite a bit of time to get made and out the door.
Making a new one isn't as easy as this author is trying to make it out to be; if it were, we'd have a new big-console Zelda at least two or three times per generation.
If I get to choose , I will prefer a complete new Zelda game instead of a remaster version .
