The thing is that the developer removed the nudity from this game so that it could be on Steam then posted directly on the game's Steam page saying "Here's an official patch to put nudity back in the game."

If Rockstar did that, GTA SA would probably be removed as well if Rockstar said "Here's the patch to add Hot Coffee back into the game"

GTA4/5 AND EVEN RDR all have nudity in them, thats all im saying. So im guessing gta 5 pc wont be on steam. same with games like witcher 2(never played 1) and maybe 3

It's kind of weird that Steam forces censorship though in the first place... If it's an adult game, it's obviously for adults. It's not like we can't handle sex, or nudity. It's just kind of ridiculous to me.

The biggest thing that pissed Steam off is the fact that the Dev censored the game initially to meet Steam TOS and then blatantly posted a work-around to enable the nudity again. If I was Steam I would yank it (pun completely intended)

Steam is the distributor, they can add whatever games they want to their catalogue. If they let the floodgates of anime pseudo-fap games whats to stop a billion other publishers from trying to do the same? You have to look at the big picture.
This is really just a mediocre game that only has gratuitous nudity going for it.
Steam would become a Cesspool pretty fast if they didnt moderate content.
And for those of you slinging the "GTA V has nudity" card, lets think about it: Publish an incredibly popular well-built Franchise with nudity on Steam, or let this rink-a-dink dev walk all over Steam TOS?

SteamPowered is right, the TOS is the flood gates against a million of these titles flooding Steam. They are cheap to make and sell, unlike GTA. Boobs are easy money, both kinds.

Steam is a cesspool already. It's almost as bad as Apple's app store. That's why there are always a thousand games on sale every day on Steam. I have to wade through a ton of junk on sale every day on Steam to find that one gem that rotated into the sale.

I don't approve of censorship at any level. In the big picture it shouldn't matter if you are Rockstar or some unknown indie. Rules should be the same for EVERYONE. Only greedy scum make rules that don't apply if you have enough money.

what really gets me is the double standard.

not just the "sax bad violence good" thing some Americans seem to have.
but the sex in a small indie title, bad, sex in a big triple a title, perfectly fine.

what makes it especially ludicrous, is, sex with pretty realistic looking characters getting naked and screwing in the Witcher series, or the Far Cry series is fine, but then they get all prudish over some cartoon nudity?

they claim to be some sort of moral authority here, yet they say stuff it when a big game comes along.

if they truly believed that nudity or sex was wrong and stuck by it, i could almost respect their decision, but they don't, their so called morals only stand as long as there's not loads of money to be made.
if there is, morals go out the window.

and to those supporting steam on this decision.
do you also support target stores in australia pulling GTA V.
they had a "moral" objection to content in the game and pulled it from the shelves.

mind you, they had the courage to pull a big selling game.
steam doesn't, even when those games violate the rules they pull games like these for.
