"Quantum Rush Champions has some real ups and downs as a title. It’s hard to not compare it to looking a lot like PodRacer only without Pods or the Star Wars Franchise. Or even Wipeout…..you know you miss that old feel of rocketing in a crazy race. It has some things going for it as an arcade style quick distraction, but you may not find yourself wanting to jump into too many races if you just scratch the surface. It’s not until you play with the Arcade racing option that the real fun is found. That’s when the game actually becomes a heck of a lot more fun."

"Whilst the Playstation has had many successful iterations of its exclusive futuristic anti-gravity racer WipeOut, the Xbox has never really had a comparative game of note. There was the good but ill-fated Quantum Redshift, released on the original Xbox many, many moons ago, but with its utterly abysmal cover art and terrible marketing it’s now left buried in the past. Now, GameArts Studio seek to rectify the situation with their new title Quantum Rush Champions, a title that should certainly not be confused with having any association with Quantum Redshift if only because it’s not particularly good." - GameSpew

ZTGD | Quantum Rush: Champions Review

Drew Leachman writes: I was once a big fan of Wipeout. I loved the sense of speed and style that went along with it. Now I haven’t had a Wipeout game in a while, in fact I think it was Wipeout HD on the PS3 years ago that last had my addiction sedated. So when I booted up Quantum Rush: Champions, I immediately thought I was back in 2008 playing Wipeout HD, but without the polish that comes with the series.
