OT: There never has been a "right" choice. It's all preference-based. Software is what sells hardware - not the other way around. Want Zelda? Get a Wii U. Want Uncharted? Get a PS4. Want Halo? Get an Xbox One. Want Half Life 3? Get a PC.

We can all circle-jerk on 2 year old assumptions if you want to, but 2014 painted a clear picture for each console, and 2015 will be an even better one. Everyone is a winner, and there is no "right" choice.

That would be why they call them smart phones to highlight the added functionality people who only want phones still use regular/cell phones so I fail to see your point.

Plus the fact that the PS4 has two AAA exclusives early in the year as well.

It might change after the 21st but currently its Sony who is showing the most dedication to gaming.

Sony is not the only company focused on games which should be clear by now. MS is clearly capable of competing and delivering great experiences. I would say to just go with you like best if not both. For me X1 is where it's at and if you want to fork out money for a ps4 than be my guest.

Sony might be only focused on games, but xbox one has better games AND better multimedia.

If you are only going to focus on one thing, you better make sure it's the best.

In Sony's case, it isn't.

Who has better games is subjective, people like you probably prefer to play Halo, people like me prefer Uncharted.
I don't need a multimedia console because I already own devices who can do all those things that the Xbox does.

They both have great games but nothing special. Played every title from both MS and sony and they were ok.2014 was not the best year in gaming.

Looking into to 2015 sony has already jump ahead of MS with PlayStation now i know MS has ea access but the library is small and you have to DL the games to you're console.
Now has so many great last generation games i don't know witch ones to play.

I wish MS has use their cloud technology for something like this instead of the crap with titanfall.

They are closer than they have ever been now, i must admit PS4 was beating them down at one point and it was an horrible time to be an Xbox fanboy(i was one, day one buyer) ;) but now Xbox One is on the fightback.
