As a film that endeavours to entertain both children and adults alike, Paddington isn’t quite up there with the best Pixar efforts; the story somewhat slight and the humour a little too broad. But it’s not far off, with the young bear effortlessly making the transition from page-to-screen via a film that’s touching, charming and thoroughly lovely.
