I need to take a week off from work and dive into this.

I'm hoping the co-op update for this comes soon. Looking forward to hooking up properly with my buddies.

Yeah I really regret buying this. Almost as much as NBA 2015. It is so freaking boring. It does a terrible job of launching you into the game and giving you a sense of purpose. You start out at a space station where there might not even be any missions that you can do. So you have to just wander around. And OMG did they make docking annoying!!!!

I'm sorry but this is why I thin No Man's Sky will be a disaster. Space games are really hard to do right. Loved Wing Commander, Privateer, and Xwing. But most games in this genre are weak.

"So far, I’ve spent time hunting bounties, invested in a Hauler and trucked tea and valuable metals between star systems, and even turned my hand to mining asteroids, meticulously refining the raw materials they release for profit."

And this is what I asked of No Man's Sky...can you do this also in that game or is the emphasis only on exploring other planets.

I never realized that there were other games like No Man already out...interesting.

Good game. Too bad they stopped console support.

Seems a bit ridiculous that No Man's Sky was able to support all formats and this game couldn't. It didn't help that they were selling the game piece meal either. e.g. buy this expansion so you can walk on planets. I feel like the damage is done and they should probably shut the thing down.

The irony is No Man's Sky is what Elite used to be and can be played completely offline.

You can still get a good 200 to 300 hours out of it on console, but I agree with everything you posted. It's really a shame because I like the art so much better than NMS.
