Hardcore Gamer: The absolutely insane Meme Run has been making waves on the Wii U eShop since December 2014, but developers Ninja Pig Studios aren’t content with just letting Nintendo fans experience blaring airhorns and wombo combos.
"Yesterday, all traces of Meme Run vanished from the eShop and Miiverse. We presumed that it was due to some sort of copyright situation, as most of the game's assets do not belong to the developer. Today, the creator of "troll face" released a statement claiming responsibility for the take down of the endless-runner" -- Nintendo Enthusiast.
Hardcore Gamer: Meme Run remains a surreal work in video gaming. An endless runner based around internet memes, the game became notorious as an in-your-face title filled with airhorns, Illuminati imagery, and wumbo combos. But now it’s disappeared from the Wii U eShop.
