Should Masks be Brought Back in a Future Zelda Title?

ZI: Whenever someone says the words "Zelda" and "mask" in the same sentence, it's needless to say that the first thing that pops into most people's minds is Majora's Mask. While it's true the game's central theme heavily revolves around the usage of masks, it's definitely not the only one in the series to have them. In fact, the first game to feature masks was none other than Ocarina of Time. Later entries in the series, such as Oracle of Ages, The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, also make use of them, though nowhere near as much as the N64 classics.

Personally, I feel the ability to take on the personas of the different races would be very awesome to have as opposed to bringing the masks back altogether. Majora's Mask is special because of the masks. However, certain elements (such as being a Deku, Goron, or Zora) were introduced by this and would make future games awesome, as we now have a taste of what being each of these races would be like now.

Instead of masks, I think it would be pretty neat to have the choice to be of one of these races at the beginning. Having this as an option would change the story a bit at have the Link of that game definitely different that the other Links in other stories. As a fan of character creation, I just find this as a great opportunity to include customized Links while keeping to the spirit of The Legend of Zelda.

Now, If that wouldn't be possible, It would be nice to have at least those three masks make a return. That was definitely my favorite thing about Majora's Mask.
