Dealspwn: "There were plenty of quality games to choose from this year, but also a few that, for whatever reason, perhaps didn't quite get the love they deserved. Perhaps they were barely marketed titles that dropped with little fanfare, or smaller curios that failed to garner much attention, perhaps they were overshadowed by bigger, louder titles, or were written off early due to faults and failures before eventually coming good."

I would give it to bayonetta 2...great game that probably deserves some goty awards but won't win because its not mainstream enough...its a shame because its the best TRUE videogame this year thats all about having fun and its a blast to play imo
I would give it to the Lords of the fallen.
Most overlooked game of 2014 IMO was Alien Isolation, it didn't do well.
If we're talking sales wise overlooked LBP3, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon, DA:I and Bayonetta 2 to the list. All of the scored high and sold very poorly.
In my opinion, I think the most overlooked game is Alien Isolation
Divinity Original Sin. One of the best games of the year and no one talks about it.
