Joseph at Skewed and Reviewed has posted an opinion piece on what Microsoft has done write with the Xbox One and why it is poised for a strong 2015 and beyond.
Just keep that liar Peter out. I cant even tell you how many times last gen he failed to deliver.
They flipped the switch.
Great article the key for the future and Xbox One is to continue to provide us with quality titles that really appeal to all gamers this past year was a great example of it. Also having a nice Eco system with Xbox live helps. Kudos to MS and keep up the good work.
MS should have kept their original DRM/sharing policies.
I wish they would have too. I would love to buy all my games physically and install them to the hard drive. All they would have had to do was make the check ins every 48 hours rather than 24, and allowed people to opt in to the program. I own both systems and absolutely love the X1.
"I would love to buy all my games physically and install them to the hard drive." Doesn't anyone who buys a PS4 or Xbox One game already do this? I buy physical copies and all of them install to my HDD.
MasterCornholio what ThePope means is with the check in system you did not need to put in your game disk when you wanted to play the game just like a digital download. I also agree with ThePope. I have decided to buy all my xbox one games digital now but would of got disk based ones if they had the check in system. I think people over reacted to this option as well as the xbox team did not explain it very well.
Axe Mattrick and put Phill in charge. :)
Found themselves a forward thinking CEO, who then placed an individual like Phil Spencer capable of correcting the mess left by his predecessor. Now all that is left is to watch those two minds make things better .
Reversed their dumb policies
You guys can disagree all you want but the facts are those policies did hurt the Xbox brand, and it pushed plenty gamers to buy a PS4 first. The X 1 was my first choice but when they introduced those system killing policies they only hurt themselves
Good? Reversed their policies. Brought games with gold. Replaced mattrick. Bringing DX12. Bad? The console design is massive, there's a power brick, dashboard style is windows 8, the controller needs batteries in 2014, and MS wasn't Dev friendly to start with. The system had massive potential and still has some but MS ruined their PR on all sides in the beginning and multiplat games are running at higher res on competition. They need to step it up and take some big name exclusives and release a redesign of the hardware and get DX12 out quick. I like my xbox one and its unique and halo and forza horizon are awesome but i can tell sony is hurting MS. Phil Spencer is turning things around which needed to happen cuz Mattrick was killing the show so maybe Phil can bring the true next gen xbox experience. The price is right, all they need to do is redesign the console and bring DX12.
well thats just your opinion.
All 3 (wiiu, ps4, xb1) controllers use batteries. you just dont like the option of user replaceable and rechargeable. Rechargeable ones can only be charged so many times before they dont hold a charge anymore. So what do you do with your controller at that point? Even the wii-u has an easy to replace pack for the gamepad. the DS4 you need to open it up to replace. sure it can be done in about 5 minutes but popping in a couple of AA takes about...5 seconds.
The author has a PS 4 and an Xbox One. He recently got the Xbox One so he wrote one on what he liked and one on what he did not like about it.
They need to bring Patrick back along with the DRM etc, etc..
Love the user name a great quote from Predator
