I can't wait to this what this game is going to be, they are a very talented studio

DarkOcelet3836d ago

Am I the only one who want a sequel to FAHRENHEIT or maybe a remake with excellent graphics. That would be amazing.

Neo_Zeed3836d ago

I would love to see Indigo Prophecy HD but I don't think it would sell.

Scatpants3836d ago

That is my favorite game they have done. Their newer games, while OK, didn't have as interesting of a story to me.

Another pointless Dualshocker article. All developers contract work out.

Dualshocker's next article:

BREAKING NEWS

Your console must be plugged in to be able to play your games!

First of all no, not all developers contract work out. Secondly, not all developers contract animation work out.
Thirdly, Quantic Dream runs one of the biggest/best equipped mocap/performance capture studios in the world in-house, so if they need to outsource animations, it means that their game is really quite massive at least for what the scope of the animations is concerned.

xkvcq3836d ago

Massive? Maybe, all I'm taking from this is that they need help cleaning up all that mocap data though. That's usually what is outsourced and then the local team works on exaggeration and tweaks once the animation has been cleaned. Of course not all developers outsource. Some games are made by one person in a garage. However almost every major AAA game that comes out in recent times has outsourced work done. You'd honestly be surprised at just how many artists aren't credited in games(and movies) because they're just labeled as outsource. and I'm not just talking EA and Ubisoft. Even the big players like Rockstar and Naughty Dog outsource a TON of work. This and the visual fx industry are sick because of it if ya ask me :/

Fireseed3836d ago

No. Alot of times they'll out source animation for things they just simply don't wanna do. Take for instance crowd shots. Animating a crowd of 100 people could totally be done in house... but I guarantee you not a single animator will apply for the task.

@Yo Mama
Not true, next article will be a story made in regards of some silly tweet.

TricksterArrow3836d ago

I play my PSP without it being plugged in. D:

So why did you bother to read it and then complain about it?

Just announce the game already -_- sick of waiting to see what it is.

BitbyDeath3836d ago

Won't be out til at least 2016 so not much point showing it this year.

JimmyDM903836d ago

2016 seems like a pretty sure bet. They're on a 3 year cycle. B2S came out in 2013. Unless having 3rd parties chip in significantly diminishes their development time.

Kurisu3836d ago

No doubt that the graphics are going to blow people away. Beyond Two Souls looked absolutely stunning on PS3, and if that could be done on last gen hardware then imagine what Quantic Dreams will produce on PS4.

Personally the highlight of Beyond was the ending, and I don't mean that in a troll way. Genuinely did have a good ending. But the rest of the game felt like a huge step back from Heavy Rain in terms of story and gameplay, so I hope they find a way to make a nice balance in their next project.

Ryuk_20073836d ago

David Cage loves pushing the boundaries when it comes to graphics. So i'm expecting some mind blowing shit once his game get revealed. Here's hoping he put more time and effort into the gameplay this time around though.

This has been my most anticipated Star Wars game in years. Can't wait to see what they have done.

P_Bomb147d ago

I like the accessibility option in recent games like Dying Light 2 and RE4, where you can simply hold a QTE button instead of spamming like a madman. 😌

got_dam147d ago

I thought this was canceled.

Terry_B147d ago

Nope..they just revealed it way too early, said already at the reveal it will be released in years

Miacosa147d ago

Wow, blast from the past thought this was canceled.

shinoff2183305d ago

I didn't teakize quantic dream was still around.

CrimsonWing69305d ago

Why is it taking so long for this game to come out?

ChasterMies305d ago

The departure of the lead writer likely means the story is done. The trailer for this game is amazing. Hope it comes out soon.
