Maybe they feel the ps4 will be a better local multiplayer platform??? But if thats the case then why the PC ver? It isnt like friends all gather around the PC to play together like they do on consoles.

Oh, but my friends and I do gather around my buddy's PC, and we all use 360 controllers with STEAM. I can't wait for M2 on my PS4. The series is really fun!

Judging by Peter’s statements, it seems that Sony were quick to jump on as soon as they got to know that Paradox and Pieces Interactive are working on a sequel. It will be interesting to keep an eye out on how long this exclusivity will last. Magicka 2 will release sometime next year for the PlayStation 4 and the PC."

Sony paid them in one form or another, and they reached an agreement. Which 3rd party developer in their right mind would keep their game exclusive to one console if not for $$$ compensation.

If they want more millions of cash and exclusivity.... why would they go for a piss poor company that Xbox fans say are going bankrupt in a few years time instead of a $300 billion company like M$ which dwarfs Sony and Nintendo combined and can easily throw $2.5 billion for an indie game like Minecraft and buy a whole development studio like Mojang?

Going to M$ makes more sense if all they are after is money.

It could be a few things.

1) I've been on this site for almost 10 years. This username has only been up for a few of those, but still. When you're on a site that long, you find people who don't like you. Also, it's sad that I've been on here for 10 years. *sigh*

2) Some people don't like it when you say a game should be multi-platform. I understand this. It seems like I'm pandering. Really, I just love this series and would love to see as many people experience it as possible.

The real reason is game parity. A game must be launched at least at the same time as the ps4 version is.

Microsoft can make exceptions if they want to.

The main reason why many indies are not coming to Xbox One is because of that clause.
