Even the recent sh1tty ps3 version that came out, I loved. It was buggy as hell, but it has shown me that Konami still own the Football games.
They just need to make a POLISHED full PES for the ps3.
FIFA always looks great to me.....but bores me agter 20 minutes.

Yeah I've always been a PES gamer, although Fifa08 really trumped a lot of PES cards. Peter Moore's excitement and pushing of Fifa 09 over other titles in the EA Sports stable is making me a tad nervous about the outcome for PES this year.

whats the point of releasing a beta if you do not learn from it and improve the final product?

Relaunched Fifa into the realm of AAA again. Fifa08 is the best soccer sim around,and looking at the pro evo2009 pics,it doesnt look like its taking its crown back anytime soon.last years Fifa08 had the looks,had the physics.had the gameplay and realism,plus . . .all those REAL LICENCED teams and leagues.what a bonus. im looking foward to Fifa09,day 1 purchase for me.they stepped up their game,and this year their raising the bar for the 2nd year in a row by the looks of things.

are poor . the AI is awful and its sluggish and boring. Take the latest uefa 2008, they say the lesser teams put 10 men behind the ball and its harder to break them down, that part is true but it becomes stupid when you get draws against the lesser teams and the good teams who open up and play , you thrash. PES is and always will be the best flowing intelligent footy game. The ps3 version was a disgrace this year due to the slowdown but on pc and 360 it was great, and forget about the official kits, what would the great modders have to do each year.

Is it still 30 fps? and framerate problem? I am a big soccer fan. I haven't pick up next gen soccer yet, becoz poor EA support for PS3.. So is this the one to pick up?

Sadly there hasn't been a single good next gen soccer game so far. fifa08 was polished, looked great, had smooth online, but had absolutely horrible gameplay. The passing in particular was god awful. PES had basically the same solid gameplay from last gen, with a few minor tweaks, but has horrible online, sub par graphics and the same crap presentation and license issues its always had. If you could merge the two franchises somehow, and tweak it a little bit, you'd have the perfect game though.
