Pictures have appeared of developer Tequilaworks at the Fun and Serious Gamefestival. TequilaWorks is currently working on the PS4 exclusive puzzle adventure title RIME.
Today, the Chinese tech company Tencent announced it recently acquired a majority stake in Tequila Works, the Madrid-based studio best known for its work on Rime.
Wowwww… damn, Shinji Mikami will leave it soon! Tencent will stifle him. Talk about a giant fuck up! Unless he planned to cash in and start something else. That creative mind (ass) is privately owned again!
Noooooooo!
Guess Deadlight is my last game from them. If I buy the Invisible Hours VR, that means they'll be getting money. Noooooooo!
From GI.biz: "Tequila Works' Google Stadia exclusive Gylt is somewhat of an anomaly on the list of games currently available via the streaming service.
Described as "delicate horror" by CEO and creative director Raul Rubio, it's inspired by Pan's Labyrinth director Geuillmo Del Toro, who is "in love with his monsters.""
This is nonsense...steam was the only thing in town st the time doing what it did...stadia has stiff competition and is going to be left behind. Apples and oranges comparison
Gamereactor sat down with Tequila Works' CEO Raul Rubio at Fun & Serious in Bilbáo to talk about Gylt, Stadia and what's to come for the studio.
