Digital Life: Civilization Revolution Review

Revolution is highly replayable and well balanced, although it is difficult to stick to a totally peaceful approach. The world is small and nearby opponents very aggressive, constantly demanding you give them precious gold or technology in exchange for (usually short-lived) peace.

But while it is difficult to remain diplomatic, players can win through scientific, cultural, economic or military domination and each approach is equally satisfying. There is a real art to switching your cities' production to match current needs and your nefarious plans for world domination.

Alpha Protocol had so much potential. I'd really like to see another spy rpg.

Alpha Protocol has some fantastic ideas in its conversation and story progression due to choices. I really enjoyed my time with it.

A spy rpg can be done with amazing results if handled correctly.

I would add 007: Bloodstone to the list. That game was criminally underrated.

WizzroSupreme3409d ago

Okami, Beyond Good and Evil, Chibi-Robo!, and Pikmin should be among these.
