"This year’s new Sonic the Hedgehog is so bad it may actually be the worst of all time, and is definitely the worst game of 2014.
One of the few positive things you can say about Sonic Boom: Rise Of Lyric is that it proves previews do give a relatively accurate impression of a game’s final quality. The first time we played this game we were so appalled by what we saw we just walked before we got to the end of the demo. Unfortunately when reviewing a game escape is not possible, and we’re afraid this is every bit as awful as we initially feared."
