Destiny definitely isn't the worst game I have ever played but it certainly isn't what I could consider open world. It's the smallest sandbox I've ever been in.

Sunset Overdrive is open world. Ground zeros is not open world. The phantom pain is open world. It is 200 to 300 times bigger than ground zeroes.

what about dragon age inquisition????? and the crew?? is not even out yet! and out of 7, 4 are ubisoft games. 2 of them disappointments, one not out yet only far cry 4 can be saved. but 1 place?? no. shadow of mordor or gta5 are better options

My favorite open world games this year were Shadow of Mordor, Watch Dogs, Infamous: Second Son, GTA V and Far Cry 4.

Best would probably be between GTA V and Far Cry 4. Can't decide yet cause I haven't finished them yet.
