Video Games are wonderful. There are more coming out each year than SheAttack can even keep track of. There will always be the games that everyone knows about and that many people buy each time a new iteration from the franchise comes out. Call of Duty doesn’t appear to be leaving the shelves any time soon, nor does Mario. These franchises are old, monolithic in power, and often make the steps that push gaming forward. However, with so many rehashed Call of Duty games out there, and a now quite varied selection of platforms you can bust through with Mario, there are times where we, as gamers, need to experience something new.
The games on this list reflect the writer's own personal taste. Overlooked games do not necessarily count as grand adventures that nobody has heard of before, and may be games that have gotten a lot of attention or good reviews in the past. Today, however, these games are not usually found loaded into the console of an average gamer, and often become dust magnets in the darkest depths of a cabinet somewhere.
