Mushroom 11 Growing On Its Post-Apocalyptic Way | Hardcore Gamer

The world is destroyed, if you happen to be human. All that’s left is a shattered wasteland of twisted metal, rusted signs, deteriorating walls covered in now-meaningless graffiti, and the remnants of whatever managed to survive mankind’s final fate. One of those remnants is a green fungus that’s got no problem at all with the broken world because, while the wasteland is an utter disaster from humanity’s point of view, if you’re an ambulatory blob of DNA-absorbing plant life then the world is merely tricky rather than destroyed.

Review: Mushroom 11 Is A Typical Platformer With A Wonderful Fungal Infection | EGMR

AG from EGMR writes: "Mushroom 11 does a lot right. It's well-designed, it's fairly good-looking, it strikes a good balance between calming and challenging. Unfortunately, it plays out in a manner most typical for platformers. It is saved by its unique 'character' and the simple to understand but tricky to master method by which you control it. This is a very good, well-made game that hardly has a unique setting but makes the experience unique with the manner in which you go about navigating the dangers of this desolate landscape."
