Mayan Death Robots is wonderfully anarchic artillery game that pits massive alien robots against each other on fully destructible 2D environments. The game plays a bit like the classic Worms, but with faster gameplay, where both players take their turn simultaneously.
In the end, this a fun game that any Worms fan will enjoy. The asking price is a reasonable $15, but given that it’s only local multiplayer, we’d hold off until a sale before picking it up. If you do get it, there’s plenty of fun to be had as long as you don’t mind all of the god/goddess references.
Bit Cultures writes: "Mayan Death Robots takes an aspect of Mayan culture that’s perhaps somewhat overlooked. The Death Robot aspect. Each playable character is a Mayan God that, happily, is also a Death Robot."
Overflowing with style and originality, these robots are so over the top and hilarious that you're bound to have a good time.
