What made Breaking Bad so special?
Certainly it was a combination of a few different factors: the outstanding casting and acting contributions by Emmy winners Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn; the superb writing by an outstanding team pieced together by show-runner Vince Gilligan; the sweeping locations, the stella direction and the highly heralded journey made by Walter White from bumbling high school chemistry teacher to methamphetamine kingpin. Quite honestly, all this is true but writing it simply like that doesn’t seem to do the show justice.
