Metro Redux Review – CanadianGamer

Peaches117 of CanadianGamer writes : I’ve never been a real huge fan of the metro series but I feel like the new and revised version deserves the same attention as any revised or newly series deserves. a couple of my first impressions about it are that I really liked how quick both of the games installed, yes its one disc but wow, it felt like it was 10 minuets flat. The opening cut scene in METRO 2033 looked like it was right up there at 60 FPS, looked really nice and was really smooth. The game play felt just as smooth as the cut scene did and looked just as beautiful. All the visual effects were real in a way as if the game was post apocalyptic, modern guns and old technology blended quite smoothly. The controls were fairly easy to get used to, the more I played the better I got a using them and I guess that’s the same no matter what new game you or I would go through for the first time.
