So I've been playing for about 3 days now, and I still don't have the Link outfit. Get your facts straight before you come on here and try to tell people they are wrong.

The link outfit is directly accessible in Bayonetta 1. alongside with the Varia suit, Daisy and Peach outfit. Beside all the outfits were announced MONTHS ago. You are wrong and are acting extremely childish.

Fact 2: I beat the first one on PS3, so I haven't played it on WiiU (so you could be correct)

I had to go to three different game stores to find it! All they had was pre order copies

Yeah I had that problem today as well here in the UK at my nearest GAME store. I literally have never pre ordered a game before, I've always been able to just walk in and buy a copy even with big releases like GTA... Not this time. Had to buy it from HMV instead D: (though it was £5 cheaper in there so divine intervention really)
either they didn't order many copies or the game is selling well.

I did pre order Smash Bros though while I was there, just in case. If Bayonetta 2 was sold out then that game is going to be even more fast to sell out I would think.

Yeah there were two pre-order copies and two available for anybody. Don't know why they have such low stocks. Glad I went early. I don't know how many were sold before I got there though.

I bought Bayonetta 2 special edition this morning. played it all afternoon until the kids got in. Man o Man WoW! what a game. I never played the first before so I will play through that first.
Its brilliant. I didn't expect to have so much fun. what a cool game. Well done Nintendo for having this game on Wii U. Just love it.
