Sword Art Online: Lost Song (PS3, PS Vita) coming in English to Asia in 2015

At a pre-event GameStart 2014 press conference today, Bandai Namco Games’s Yosuke Futami, producer for Sword Art Online: Lost Song (PS3, PS Vita), announced that the game will be localized in English for Asia. The game is slated for release sometime in 2015.

Good news for importers but...if namco decides to localize, for the love of God, make an actual translation instead of just bringing over the asia version...

if the first game did well, then they probably will spend more on translation. even more so when you consider the new game will be on ps3 as well.

just the fact that there'll be an English translation, even if it's subs, renders the game playable, at least to me.
ALO is my favorite world depicted in the anime but not my favorite story line, unfortunately. I like where they're going after GGO ended.
The new episodes in ALO are great.
I am hoping that the franchise will lean toward a .hack//GU type of gameplay, even if it's simulated MMO gameplay.

The first sold well in NA. Idk about sells exactly, but one way I tell is how much ratings it has on the store, and Hollow Frag has a lot more ratings than many other games even with its shorter release. Also, releasing it just on PSN is quite cheap for them to just localize the Asian version. Easy money Namco, just do it.

A Look Back at Artdink's Games for PlayStation Vita

VGChartz's Adam Cartwright: "In 2017 I wrote a series of articles looking at all of the Vita games released by a number of different publishers, but at the time I was already thinking about how interesting it would be to examine the output of individual developers. Sony’s handheld may not have been a sales success in itself, but certain studios managed to make a living by creating titles for it that targeted the right audiences. None demonstrate this better than Artdink, the quirky Japanese company that has increasingly branched out into anime development in recent years."
