So here is a breakdown of the specs to compare the gaming potential of the Amazon Fire TV and the Google Nexus Player.
Looking to do some classic gaming on your Amazon Fire TV? Sega has released a bunch of classics onto the streaming device.
"Lots of accessories for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC are on sale for up to 60% off at Amazon this Cyber Monday"
You would think that since Amazon owns Twitch, that they would at the very least show some love and get some priority updates for their products. And when I say products, I mean all of them and not some. Case in point, the Twitch app on the original Amazon Fire TV is a piece of crap, especially compared to the versions of the app on the Xbox and PlayStation, or even the iOS and Android (mobile) versions.
Where's the OUYA comparison.
We wanted to compare the two due for release over the next month.
Hmm, I prefer the Amazon hardware but I prefer the Google box's ability to use the play store.
I also prefer the googly controller.
Much of a muchness really? Most people will be using Plex/Netflix/PrimeTV etc with gaming as a distant consideration.
