Archos Reveals Smartphone-Based Archos VR Glasses

VRFocus – Three of the biggest names in the technology have gotten involved with virtual reality (VR) technology in 2014 to some degree. Google's Cardboard VR concept proved an interesting alternative for low-cost VR while Samsung revealed a more premium smartphone-based VR head-mounted display (HMD) in Gear VR. Then of course there's Project Morpheus, the upcoming HMD from Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) for the PlayStation 4. This week sees French technology firm Archos add its name to that list.
