With every trailer comes music to set the mood — and video games aren’t much different. Why is it then that fans of video games can’t seem to let trailers go? I play video games and I listen to music, I’m a big fan of film and I can appreciate how a production might incorporate music to set the ambiance. It’s a necessity — it adds an element that you just wouldn’t have if the music weren’t there. It can set the tone and offer audible guidance to the viewer to create a more memorable scene.
