Speaking exclusively to games™ in an in-depth interview feature, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi has praised the PlayStation 4 and assured fans that they can expect a much better final product than Polyphony was able to deliver on the more challenging PS3 hardware.

Me too I'm just about to start up gran Turismo 6 don't think I'll be able to wait another 2 years for the next one haha, only finished gran Turismo 5 myself about 6 months or so ago, darn backlog.

I can wait for greatness, let them take there time.

Maybe Prologue might by the end of 2015, but 2016 is when GT7 will be ready. I believe I saw an article on here somewhere.

Seeing as how Driveclub looks and plays on the PS4 now, I can only imagine how even more obsessive to detail Yamauci would be with the next Gran Turismo.

Please don't hype the game, delay it and at the time of release it will be a complete mess. I'm not into driving sims but I have still hope that GT can deliver. Just don't push it too much. Just like Bayonetta 2. Just release it and reviewers and fans will decide if its good or bad.

-better car sounds that replicate the real thing
-pls no standards

Edit: oh btw

SoapShoes1884d ago

Hmmm does removing standards really make it better? There are alot of standards I don't want missing and I know they can't upgrade them all. I think they should at least have all the standards as a free dlc pack for everyone who wants them. Alot of the standards were upgraded in GT6 too and are like premiums with no interior.

pwnsause_returns1883d ago (Edited 1883d ago )

before I wrote this, thats what I thought, just give it to us a dlc as an option...

as for those standards that are pretty much premium with no interior...I think they will add interior in those cars.

these premiums btw, would have little to no work according to PD cause they have these cars in line as "super High res" at first, then they tone it down for PS3 for GT 5/6 cause they want to leave their "Super-High-Res" counterparts for "next-gen", or in this case, for PS4 according to Kazunori Yamauchi in an article I read a few years ago.

and lets be honest here... this game will be Morpheus supported..This game, like DriveCLub screams for VR....... I want them to take their time to implement it. Project Cars is gonna do it, they have to not just follow, but lead in terms of it... and Im sure most of us GT fans want to see it, in order to purchase Project Morpheus...

" Just don't push it too much. Just like Bayonetta 2. Just release it and reviewers and fans will decide if its good or bad. " I don't think Sony would allow them to do that, they don't want the game sales flopping "just like Bayonetta 2" at least in Japan for now.

I am betting this will be a 2017 release if PD's history is any indicator.

“For GT7, myself and my staff have a clear vision: to do everything we couldn’t do in GT6,” Yamauchi revealed. “We want to make it very Gran Turismo. By that I mean it’s going to be a game that matches the very era that we live in, in 2015 or 2016.”
