I wonder if this will generate some Wii U sales from diehard Bayonetta fans. It probably wouldn't be a system seller to most gamers, but there is a rabid fanbase eager for more.

It's one of the main reasons I bought a Wii U. Also, the demo is just as crazy (in a good time way) as you'd expect from a Bayonetta game. I just hope the Nintendo fan base will embrace the game because this game deserves to do well.

It's amazing. The set pieces look on par with many next-gen games, the runs smooth (in the demo), and the combat is as good as ever.

Day 1 if you liked the original, or if you're simply a hack n slash fan.

Makes the anticipation for more games in the genre unbearable.

Yeah played it after i got out of class yesterday. Definitely a day one purchase. Off topic are all demos on the Wii u limited to only 15 tries if so that's disappointing considering I already use 7 out of 15 that are available for this demo.

I haven't played a lot of Wii U demos, but those I did play had some sort of limit like that. Not really sure of the reason why...

Demos aren't really a substitute for a full game, so not sure they would deter people from buying the real deal.

Nintendo said they gave the devs the choice of how many tries the demo has. It can be from as little as ten to 45 I believe. Devs choice, though.

I think it IS a Nintendo thing as the eshop is the only place I have heard of demo limits- kind of defeats the purpose of a demo imo- if you wanted to show it to a friend to get them interested or something like that - generally I don t play demo s that often but it still makes no sense re marketing which is Der a Nintendo thing - since they paid for and are publishing Bayo II it is 100% their option re demo limits

It IS a GREAT demo everyone should try it and hopefully buy it

You can play more than 15 times if you don't turn off the console after each play through.

Demo times vary buy yes. I've never seen anyone run out of time before since most Pepe play a demo 2 or 3 times generally once to know if they like a game and want to buy. 15 is generous

It would be great if more people bought this game but I won't blame it on the fanbase since it barely sold on two consoles.

Yet i will be buying around 3 copies of this game. One for me and a close friend that loved old school devil may cry and the other is a god of war player. Early Christmas I guess!

Sorry I must be one of the few but it's just not appealing to me... Don't get me wrong the DMC combos etc are cool but I really think it's just that the female lead in this case doesn't appeal to me, if she had a different look or something and also the whole hair powers isn't my thing either... Granted I never played the first one for these same reasons but I am truly happy that Wii U owners are getting a what seems to be a great exclusive, hopefully it will garner more sales for them. RESPECT

The gameplay and visuals are stellar in this game for sure unfortunately I just can't see it selling well at all due to how bazaar it is. I think its great that it imbraces being completely over the top but the majority will be turned off by the music alone not to mention all the other strangeness going on. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though.

I love this demo. I am sold on it now where as before the demo I was like ehhh, maybe. Looks great and plays great! I just have one complaint and wonder if I am alone or not with it. I do not so much care for the Japanese rock almost Sonic for Dreamcast soundtrack. This in NO WAY makes it a bad game, I just don't like this type of music.

Still buying it and think it looks every bit as current gen as anything on my PS4, and the gameplay is fantastic. I had never played the first one and am looking forward to that game as well. The gameplay is supposed to be even a little better than the 360 version, and the definitive version.😂

All I want to know is in what generation did people care more about how games sell than how they play? Don't get me wrong, I do hope that Bayonetta 2 sells well enough to warrant a continuation in the series and more games from Platinum.

But some people are concerning themselves too much with how much this will effect Nintendo's pockets... Gaming mentality needs to revert back to the way it was during the 4th and 5th generation of consoles. We had big titles and we had little obscure titles, but no one cared much about how those games sold really! Just that we got them.

People care about how well the game sells because Nintendo gamers rarely get AAA titles that don't start with "Super" or "The Legend of." We want it to sell well to show Nintendo and 3rd party developers that Nintendo gamers aren't just children and casuals. It's not difficult to figure and shouldn't be criticized, Nintendo gamers want great games just as Sony and MS gamers do! I hope it sells well, too!

This is the wrong misconception that people have, because there are always lots of games on Nintendo platforms that don't have big budgets, but Nintendo still supports them. What do people consider AAA in this day and age? Most people consider Bayonetta 2 AAA, but what if Nintendo isn't really spending that much to publish this game? Does that make it no longer AAA? I guarantee that Wonderful 101 didn't have a big production value, but the quality is still there in that game regardless of cash spent to produce it.

This is why I state people are too worried about sales. Nintendo knows that they need content of every variety on WiiU, so you better believe we will get games like StarFox, Metroid, Bayonetta 2 and Devils Third. I want WiiU to be a successful console for Nintendo, but I kind of don't mind a half way struggling Nintendo. Because they are finally starting to listen to their fans and hopefully this will mean very great things by their next-generation system. We will probably get some of the best and highest acclaimed games from Nintendo this generation, simply because they have their backs against the wall so early...
