GRID Autosport Gets Oculus Rift Support in New Patch

VRFocus - Virtual reality (VR) fans are likely looking towards Slightly Mad Studio's upcoming Project CARs for their racing title fix this holiday season when it launches in November 2014. As it turns out, they won't have to wait that long to a big budget VR racing experience. UK developer Codemasters has surprised everyone by revealing that it will be adding Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) support to GRID Autosport in a patch due later this week.

Nobody cares.

Grid has been shit since the first game.

Dirt is better.

F1 just feels stale.

Codemasters are in trouble imo.

I agree on F1 games part. It has almost been the same game since F1 2010 came out. Just milking customers

Awesome. Not a big Grid fan, but the sooner more AAA well-known games get on VR and it becomes an expected feature where possible, the better.

GRID Autosport and other racing games have compatibility issues on Switch 2

Nintendo is investigating Switch 2 backwards compatibility issues for several racing games, including GRID Autosport, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 and WRC 9.

Not entirely true.

I had this issue with Grid Autosport, it crashed about 5 times in a row at one of the beginning logos. I finally tried another game, then tried Grid again... and it worked!

So it's not working well, but it eventually does work. I did a handful of races no problem once I got the game going. So yea, hoping for a patch soon bc it is a pretty good racer to have handheld!
