A Star Trek Retrospective

There’s rarely another franchise that’s quite as iconic or ubiquitous as Star Trek, which has spawned spin-offs, films, novels, games, and too many other creative works to fully detail in the decades since its inception. Its impact, importance, and relevance is difficult to sum up. Like Star Wars and Harry Potter, it’s become such a cultural touchstone that it’s impossible to even imagine meeting a person that’s never heard of it — and who doesn’t have an opinion about it.
