Player Attack: This fall is practically a godsend for fighting game fans. While the genre has seen a plethora of games throughout the year, the second half of 2014 has a great deal of titles available to fans of 2D fighters. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, and other smaller titles all strive for fans' attention, and with such terrible dry spells in the past, this deluge of games to play is a wonderful thing.
Amazon has discounted the physical versions of several Vita games to below $20, including Akiba's Beat, Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!, BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND, Drive Girls, Tokyo Tattoo Girls and Zero Time Dilemma.
Jorge S Fernandez: "The fighting game genre is becoming more and more prolific on PC with each passing day; Street Fighter V is currently in development as a PS4 exclusive, but will also be making its way to PC in addition to featuring cross play between both versions. Killer Instinct, previously an Xbox One exclusive, is also headed to PC and also featuring cross play between console and PC players. This growing trend in platform synergy continues to show just how serious a contender the PC market is becoming for broadband brawling, so it’s only natural that publishers like Arc System Works would want to get a piece of the multi-platform pie."
Chalgyr's Game Room writes:
Appearing for the first time on the PC, Arc System Work’s Arcana Heart is making an uppercut onto the PC. Experience 2D fighting in the same fast paced vein as Guilty Gear and BlazBlue alongside a slew of female fighters as they engage each other for supremacy in a fictional futuristic Japan.
