Anomaly 2′s premise had me convinced that it was something it isn’t. Billed as a “tower offense” game, Anomaly shakes up traditional tower defense by making the player the attacker and the enemy the defender. The result is a tower defense game that requires extra layers of micro-management that simultaneously overload the systems and make it one of the most interesting games of its kind around.
