Phone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Approved For Sale In China
The Chinese government has given approval for Apple to begin selling the iPhone6 and iPhone6Plus in its mobile market opening the door to an estimated 1.27 billion mobile subscribers. Apple confirmed it would begin selling the phones on 17 October, with pre-orders available from 10 October.
The three main carriers – China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom – will all offer the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus for sale. China is set to become the worlds largest mobile phone market this year, overtaking the US, according to research firm Strategy Analytics.
