MP1st - Seven game modes in total will ship with Visceral Games’ Battlefield Hardline when it launches this Spring, five of which are never-before-seen in the Battlefield franchise.
Even with the atrocious launch of bf4 i still had a blast playing. Ill always buy battlefield no other fps gives you the intense gunfights like battlefield does. (On ps4 that is...)
People like you are the reason publishers keep putting out broken products. Congrats!
you are not alone Battlefriend @sonyaddict "9 maps lmfao" talking about content and you have a destiny avatar? lol
Well to be fair Destiny has 10 pvp maps
Wait till you play Planetside 2. It makes BF4 looks like a child's playground. 3000+ players and the netcode still hold up unlike BF4.
I just cant get into Planetside 2 despite trying at 2 different times from beta to the actual release. The gunplay just doesnt feel right to me despite loving Planetside 1 years ago.
Planetside 2 is boring, great idea but its just not fun.
Personally Battlefield 4 just worked for me. Never had a single problem with it, I always hear people say it was broken. I don't doubt it of course, just never had a problem with it myself...
Day one. Viceral makes good games.
yeah, especially the last masterpieces from Viceral like Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel and Dead Space 3 /s
How lazy!! They couldn't have given us one more map and make it 10 Maps.
They gotta save some to sell you back as DLC!
This game will most likely have 4 DLC Map Packs. An extra map to have 10 maps at launch wouldn't hurt them. They're just being lazy.
I won't be getting it day one. EA is so full of ... I will buy any game that interests me from that company second hand.
9 maps lmfao
Advanced Warfare 14 + 20 DLC. Hardline 9 + 25 DLC. EA is the new Activision. All Hail Activision!
Poor Visceral. They deserve a better publisher.
Capitalism, every publisher will try to get as much as possible, giving as less as possible. All they see is the color of money, and they should since everyone has to eat, pay their bills and taxes.
What's the alternative....communism? People need to vote with their wallets, and then maybe we'll have a chance.
@BattleAxe The creation of a new alternative can happen, as it stands, the richer get richer, while the middle class works just so they can have enough for their funeral. We need to make on example of this company, if everyone could unite to make them change, it could be an amazing change.
9 maps just like BF4 at launch and next 20 = 5 expansions. After all this we went through with BF4 we should get BF Hardline Premium for free but that won't happen because EA will be EA as usual. I also find it funny that Premium actually offers more content than base game itself despite being DLC. Judging from that we really pay $60 for half of the game and another $40-$60 (sorry I don't know how much exactly is premium in dollars) for the other part. Oh well good thing that I got both BF3 and BF4 Premiums 50% less at release. Less money for this greedy company.
* 9 Maps * No war setting * Campaign over multiplayer * No grand scale war feel * LA cop drug plot * First annualized entry * Not being made by DICE Yeah fuck this, it aint even Battlefield
What a joke EA is.
What amazes me, is that they really seem to be doing everything right in regards to Inquisition, after DA2. What is bizarre is that although they seemed to have realized they were running DA fans off and needed to take it seriously, that after BF4 we still get this. It seems quite contradictory to me.
9 maps and 7 game modes....... I was just in another forum talking about how poor the content offering was in Titanfall, and in many games these days for that matter, and so I did a quick comparison with some older well known games, from back in the days when we actually received value for our money. Check it out: Battlefield: Hardline (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2014 - 7 Online Game Modes - 9 Multiplayer Maps - Full Single Player Campaign - $60.00 ***Possibly more at release, I don't know*** Titanfall (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2014 - 7 Online Game Modes - 15 Multiplayer Maps - $60.00 Call of Duty 4 (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2007 - 12 Online Game Modes - 17 Multiplayer Maps - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00 Call of Duty: World at War (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2008 - 14 Online Game Modes - 13 Multiplayer Maps - 4 Player Online Campaign Co-op - 4 Player Online Zombie Mode - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2009 - 15 Online Game Modes - 16 Multiplayer Maps - 2 Player Online Spec-Ops Co-op - 2 Player Online Campaign Co-op - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00 Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2007 - 18 Online Game Modes - 18 Multiplayer Maps - 9 Online Co-op Modes (Up to 16 Co-op Players) - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00 Ranbow Six Vegas (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2006 - 10 Game Modes - 20 Multplayer Maps - 4 Player Online Campaign Co-op - 4 Player Online Terrorist Hunt Co-op - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00 Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (Initial release Content *Without DLC*) Year: 2008 - 5 Online Game Modes - 13 Multiplayer Maps - 2 Player Online Campaign Co-op - 2 Player Online Terrorist Hunt Co-op - Full Single Player Campaign (High Quality) - $60.00
Hey! Thank you i was looking for a comparison like that.
You didn't put any other battlefield games in that list though? Although on paper it looks like this Battlefield game has a lot less content than the others, it's worth noting that the maps featured are much, much larger than the other games.
Socom 2 had alot of maps...
Graw 2 was the best shooter in years with dlc added it was 51 maps all playable in coop....oh how i long for those days to return.
maybe i'm forgetting something dont games ship with more maps than this
After the treatment NHL 15 got, and the constant problems with Battlefield 4 since launch, and their insistence on deliberately withholding content THAT I PAID FOR WHEN I BOUGHT THE DAMN LICENSE to sell as "additional content", EA can go piss up a rope. I'm done with them, and any other publisher who follows suit. Screw season passes. Either raise prices for games, or give us ALL the content, because it's already been budgeted for a $60 sale. Any DLC these assholes sell goes into the books as pure profit. **** them.
