There seems to be a plethora of games these days trying to out do one another in terms of difficulty and levels of frustration it can inflict on players. Recent games such as: Dark Souls, Wayward Souls, and the highly anticipated upcoming Titan Souls all seem to have these features in common. Apart from the perplexing fact that they undoubtedly like the word “soul,” Fenix Rage stands apart from these “soul” loving games. Yes, it is challenging and will frustrate the heck out of you, but it differs from the rest of these games in that its frustrations are addicting and make you want to play more even if you’re a shmuck like me and die 78 different times in one level. Or it could be that death really isn’t a factor to you. It depends.
