Destiny's Queen's Wrath Update Explained

8CN: Today, a free new update for Destiny went live. It's called "The Queen's Wrath," and it features new bounties and gear for Guardians to collect, and will supposedly tie into an upcoming expansion pack (House of Wolves). So what's it all about?

If you're going to post an article explaining the update, then I strongly suggest you post one with ALL the information. This update also givings a mission bonus called "queens wrath," which lets you do a new special mission (located above the daily crucible challenge) called "queens wrath," where you fight level 24 enemies with the epic and other modifiers on story missions and upon completion you get a legendary item in exchange for your quest reward.

That's a pretty big part of it. And it came just at the right time.

Now does anyone know if they are going to go overboard in a knee jerk reaction to the normal mmo complaints concerning rng...and allow everyone to fully gear 3 different characters in legendary by next week? I hope not.
Mayne chest and head this week, and a gun next week.

Too much will havet a horrible effect and gear everyone way to fast...imho. And this coming from someone who had no other legendaries, 1/21 on purple engrams.

Also, I noticed they killed the glimmer farming of 8 yellow hive ultras, but left the cave. All they need to do is adjust the loot drop rate to reflect the enemy levels. Very low for enemies much lower and higher for enemies the same or a higher level.

Farming is part of an mmo and should exist, but there should always be more incentive to play higher tier content.

And a chat box Bungie....PLEASE!!!!! Absolutely love the game, needs some tweaks and more social tools but awesome...so awesome...and everyday there's something I find that I love about the game.

Fix the cave by all means but...

This would just cause the higher level areas to become crowded.

What's wrong with the cave? I've done it for HOURS and never received one purple, all greens with several blues. I use it to trade it for weapon parts and saphire wire. I'm level 24 and still never saw one purple drop, even with treasure cave. Unless the completely fix the loot system, then don't touch the cave.

All it is is a difficulty modifier and a vendor.
