DSOGaming writes: "Yesterday, we informed you about the exclusive PC features that will be implemented in Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Well, today we’ve got some additional titles that will benefit from NVIDIA’s GameWorks. According to slides from NVIDIA’s event, Batman: Arkham Knight, Project CARS, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel."
Games such as Mad Max, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Batman: Arkham Knight desperately deserve a modern-day revisit.
RDR2 still looks astounding on PS4 Pro. i cannot imagine how it could look with a next gen upgrade.
It's obviously never gonna happen since Sony killed the game and studio, but Driveclub. Even in its current state, 10 years after release, it still puts many competitors to shame ...
Mad max ikr! Far cry primal, it amuses me how ubisoft just left ac unity hanging, sadly most of the good staff left from rocksteady while being forced to make that abomination smh

I'm so done with Ubisoft, removing games one paid for is a new low...
Bye Ubisoft,
You've done f#c*ed it up !
I see they're trying their best to surpass Activision Blizzard for being the most hated gaming company. Keep at it, Ubisoft, I believe!
One way or another, these games provoked strong reactions.
I don't think Days Gone divided fans. For the most part, gamers loved it. It was the reviewers who were divided. Self-loathing racist pieces of shit that took exception to the main character being white. This was a fantastic game, one of the best open-world games I ever played, and I've played them all.
For the most part, when it comes to Last of Us 2, incels, homophobes, and closet national socialist types didn't like it. I repeat not all, but most.
Days Gone is a great game and it was attacked by the leftist socialist people that are actually closet fascists. As a great poet once said: "Socialism is the mother of fascism."
The Order got hit from anti-Sony Xbox fans.
Out of these 3, Last of Us 2 stands above as being a work of art. It's still generating a ton conversation to this day.
Amazing gameplay, but TLOU2 had one of the worst, most convoluted and uneccessary plots I ever seen in a sequel. Terrible story and the characters were forgettable. I didn't give an F about anyone in the story.
I don't think any of these divided fans, other than LoU2. The rest were either victims of biased reviews or just generally agreed that they weren't as good as they could've been or just overall disappointing.
Sounds good!! Cant wait.
These are going to be some nice enhancements.
They had that fur tech running on Witcher 3 and they had 2 werewolves on screen at once running at 65fps 720p on a Titan......
I think I know what I will be turning off when these games come around...
Considering how much processing power many of these nVidia PhysX effects take, I'm sure the console versions will have them scaled back from what they use on the PC version. A lot of PC gamers use a secondary graphics card that's as powerful as the one found in the PS4 as a dedicated PhysX processor in order to run maxed effects while retaining framerate. The GTX 750ti is a great physX card.
Games like Batman: Arkham use significant amounts of on-screen physX effects when settings are maxed out and even cards as powerful as a GTX 780ti see a frame rate drop. Only a dedicated PhysX card will eliminate the performance hit since the main GPU wont have to deal with all those other calculations for dynamic fog, particles, blowing trash, cloth effects, etc.
Here is a good show of what these effects look like...

Can anyone tell me if these nVidia effects are being calculated on the PS4/Xbone GPU or are they CPU based? I'm assuming they're done on the CPU since these consoles use AMD graphics.
Edit/
Never mind. I found my answer. nVidia PhysX/APEX effects on these consoles will be run on the CPU. This method is much less efficient than what is seen when using the GPU for acceleration. This may be alleviated somewhat due to these consoles having 8 CPU cores, albeit their low clock speeds pose a problem.
