IGN Extant: “Ascension” Review

After moving at a slow pace for at least half of the season, Extant has been stepping it up. That trend continued in the Season 1 finale as they wasted no time getting Molly into space. She was working with the Seraphim solving problems a la Ellen Ripley soon after the episode started, and we needed to see her in action. Bonus: she got a cool spacesuit and a helmet capable of separating reality from illusions created by the spores. That was clever.
