NHL 15 Review-VGU

James Pungello of VGU reviews the newest installment in the ice hockey franchise from EA Sports.

SuperBlur3501d ago (Edited 3501d ago )

Any sane enough person would never grade this game anything above D+

"NHL 15 brings the best of what the last generation offerings had to the table and improves the presentation and graphics considerably."

Half baked game modes with so much cut down features was the best of last gen?

"There aren’t too many groundbreaking offerings for the gameplay or the game modes themselves but there really didn’t need to be."

There is nothing groundbreaking this year edition , more than half the game modes are missing , yes they needed to be .. idiot.

"This year brought the NHL franchise to the current gen and knocked it out of the park (or, to use a hockey analogy, lit the lamp). Some minor issues with the game are easily trumped by the fantastically fun and authentic experience that is delivered. If you are a hockey fan, this game is a must own."

Nothing fun with a game that you can glitch score the same goal over and over , despite opponent trying to defend it. The menus are still horribly slow , the devs would always say "oh its because of the hardware" WELL THEY HAVE IT NOW AND ITS TERRIBLY SLOW STILL

fuck you EA Lazy Sports

This reviewer is kissing uber ass , perhaps in hope to get free copies in the future.

At least NHL 16 shipped as a complete product. Still waiting on goalies and d-men that act real. I have a feeling I'll be waiting several more years.

I went back and watched the whole series. And I don't even like hockey or hockey games lol Guy is real funny

Saving it all for next week perhaps?

Since the Xbox One launch Microsoft sales have been garbage.. I have $30 expiring in 2 weeks that I'm probably going to have to spend on full price content because of how lame these sales are. Hoping for an Ori sale next week during E3.

Your $$$ do not expire regardless of your Live status. Just pay by the month, first month is a free trial before payments begin. Usually available through your PC, not the dashboard.
