Grand Theft Auto VI Would Thrive In Las Vegas

Now we know that the folks at Rockstar always change the name of their big cities, but they are always based of a preexisting one. In my opinion Las Vegas would be an ideal place to bring Rockstar's powerhouse of a franchise to once it comes time to create the new title."

Las Vegas is a relatively small area of buildings in the middle of the desert. Not sure it would be big enough to be included as the location for GTA. Maybe since it would be a fictional place anyway, they could expand it.

Las Vegas or Las Venturas is something which should be a part of a map in a GTA game, not be the main City.

Vice City should be next, it's only fair.

The streets are far too narrow (and that's BEFORE the rivers of vomit)... Also, you'd have to subtitle the cockneys, the chavs and of course, the Pikeys.

Then there's the weather, the teeth and the 'Crown jewel' Hiest for which you get sued.
Also, aside from Kiera Knightly and Kate Beckinsale (statistical anomalies?), the Poms are not an attractive bunch...

America (specifically California) is perfect for this style of game. If they were to expand on LA then they could potentially have Vegas, San Fran, San Diego/Tijuana and everything in between.

Also, Californians are an attractive people (botox on the beach!!!) and yeah, they're also pretty crazy...

I have a feeling there going to make a game with both San Fierro and Las Vegas, and you'll do some heists missions in Las Venturas like you did in North Yanktown from GTA V?

That be a great way to have both a desert setting with military bases and Area 51, but the sunny seaside tech city like San Fransico as the main city!

I live near LA and thought the same thing about los Santos, I've been to vegas plenty of times there's a huge map out there to explore

No where near as big as Los Angeles. All the surrounding cities not just Los Angeles are 100x the size of Las Vegas main attraction...The Strip. Sure Vegas has a lot of open desert but that's it. All homes and little towns beyond the strip.

Vegas would be amazing, people forget how small los Angeles is as far as buildings go and Vegas ain't much smaller at all. And so much they could do with it, I'm already picturing burying a guy in the desert that owed money to the mob boss you work for or pushing an assassination target off the top of the stratosphere hotel.

It would be a boring game though. The Strip isn't entertaining. It's the Hotels that matter in Vegas. You walk amongst a bunch of drunks but ultimately to get into a bar/club/attraction inside a Hotel. So they would have to recreate most of the Hotels interiors and your missions would just consist of heist really. Cruising the streets would get boring quick as it's a straight road. It should be a side destination. Next game should be San Diego, LA, Frisco, Seattle, and able to travel to Miami, NY and London or Japan. They can make it happen.

It would be a great setting for interesting characters in any event.

I would like to see GTA go to the South. That would be interesting. The South has bustling cities also. Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, and Texas would be great examples to pull from and make a fictional city or cities. Not just a recreation of a famous city.
