Techland are a busy bunch, aren't they? While they're not working on Dead Island's first sequel proper, they are working on the similarly themed (and quite grand looking) Dying Light, as well as producing the digital-only hack and slash fantasy game Hellraid. It originally started out as a mode for Dead Island (thanks Wikipedia!) but now is its own standalone game for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
Beyond that I'll admit to being largely clueless, so Ian Higton's primer and interview with producer Marcin Kruczkiewicz came in quite handy. Oh, here it is right now!
Dying Light - Hellraid is a new DLC add-on for a five-year-old game. It uses some of the assets and environments of the original (now on hold) Hellraid projects - and some Hellraid weapons will be usable in the main Dying Light experience.

Too bad we didn`t get to play 8 days though. Looked really good.
I`d be surprised if we see Agent coming out, with GTA and Red Dead 2 taking some time.
Deep Down did look pretty cool too, but i guess it`s gone since we havn`t heard anything about it for some time.

Can't wait for this and dying light! I'm skeptical about dead island 2 after seeing the gameplay demo.

Looks interesting, but why do developers keep taking away from the main game by adding multiplayer? *sigh* Could have been open world.
I feel I've been through Hell waiting for this,I've not gave up hope yet as it keeps getting better with every bit of news that comes through. Dying Light and Dead Island 2 are near the top of my to get list with Hellraid top of everything,yes higher than Destiny and ESOL,only Fallout 4 would top everything else.
