Can’t We Just Play Some Video Games?

With the recent shitstorm of the Zoe Quinn debacle, and Phil Fish throwing his toys out the pram again, it’s made me wonder, why gaming has suddenly been caught in the fiery, twitching gaze of social justice warriors, and why video game journalism seems to pander to these stalwart heroes of internet activism.
