Despite their seemingly miserable setting, both Metro games are in fact fun, diverse shooter-adventures, and the remastered 2033 does a good job of smoothing down the original's rougher edges at the expense of some of its brutal personality. Getting both in a single, enhanced package is a great way to discover (or rediscover) the Moscow Metro's unconventional charms.

The game looks worse than the originals on PC. How is this getting good reviews? It's like no one has actually played this garbage.
I never played the original on PC or Xbox 360, but when LL came available with my PS plus subscription i was excited, i played it but never ended up beating it, it played and looked horrible on console IMO, but i'm excited to play both games with upgraded graphics and gameplay/Dlc (i'm glad i didn't finish LL in the long run)
