Division developer touts “total” relationship with Xbox One and Microsoft
Tom Clancy's The Division will perform and play beautifully on Xbox One, producer Fredrik Rundqvist has assured OXM, thanks in part to an "almost integral" partnership with Microsoft.
As you hopefully already know, the Xbox One version of
the post-epidemic, New York-based MMO shooter will
receive exclusive DLC. Microsoft has also, Rundqvist
revealed, entered into a knowledge exchange with the
developer to help it squeeze all the juice out of the
console.
"It runs live on the Xbox One right now," he told me.
"That's quite an achievement for us. We were quite
surprised about all the feedback we got after E3, when
people didn't believe that the game was running, that
you could have a game that looks that good running on
Xbox One.
