Rose: Time Apart Dev Hosting VR & AR Roundtables at GDC

VRFocus- Virtual reality (VR) fans have plenty to be excited about for this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC) when it takes place on 2nd - 6th March. The event, which is hosted inside the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California, USA, will feature a number of VR-related talks from industry figureheads as well as showcases of the latest head-mounted displays (HMD) and compatible software. One developer speaking at the event is Doron Kanaan, who will be hosting a range of roundtable discussions on the technology throughout the week.

Rose: Time Apart Gets VR Demo

VRFocus - Last week it was revealed that first-person adventure title Rose: Time Apart would feature support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) come launch. The title, developed by indie studio Cellar Door Interactive, is currently running a Kickstarter campaign looking for $10,000 USD to fund production. Now a free demo has launched in support of that crowd-funding campaign, featuring an early look at support for the VR.

Oculus Rift Support Confirmed for Rose: Time Apart

This week sees another full videogame pledge support to the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD). Cellar Door Interactive has confirmed that it will integrate support for the device for its upcoming PC title, Rose: Time Apart, should it pass its currently-running Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign. The title is currently looking to raise $10,000 USD by 9th September 2014 to fund development, with just over $2,000 currently raised.
