Why I firmly believe that SSB 4 will have 48 character selection slots, and 50 characters to play as

Holy Hell thats a lot of Character Selection. Personally I feel that many fighters may be a little far fetched, but it would be cool to see. Unless they just do a crappy skin-swap and essentially have 5 of the same fighters....

i just hope ganondorf and falco get a more unique move set

especially ganon, he's a character that deserves a own move set and it's just weird that he is a clone of captain falcon

call it " Ultimate Fighter " game / 70 characters choose from.

for wii U or ps4, sell like hotcakes.

I think another way they could free up a slot is to remove "random" from the page altogether, and instead allow the random option to function by placing your token over your empty chosen character display spot and then just keep pressing the A button to make the token jump between characters.

Or one of the buttons on the controller could be used for random character selection.

That crossed my mind, too, but I just went with my first idea because it sounded more natural to how we do things when selecting characters in Smash.
When I think of other buttons aside from A and B on that screen, my mind automatically jumps to changing the character's color, whereas all character decisions are focused around the token, so I thought keeping the "random" choice tied to the token being picked up and dropped, just in a different location, would feel more familiar and natural to Smash fans.

The button idea is just as easy, though, so either one would work for me.^_^

I love Gumball Machine/Penny Arcade feel of SSB.

You never know what you will receive or unlock or when a New Challenger arrives.

When I see A New Challenger! It feels kind of like kicking open a treasure chest in Hyrule.

I hope that he gets wild with the Trophies and Characters- Fighting games need balance but I love the challenge of having a character and a character mechanic that does not immediately seem good.

And even if the character is weaker than the others, it is sometimes good to take the weak character and learn them so well that you are able to beat-down people with "better" characters.
