Sadly, that isn’t usually true. Just once in a while though, as with non-indie games, some titles stand out among the rest and fulfill their missions. UnEpic, an indie title created by Spain’s Francisco Téllez de Meneses, is a Metroidvania title that does just this – delivering a funny experience that has kept up with the times yet retains all the difficult, unforgiving designs of older titles."
