Resident Evil Remakes: What About Outbreak?

No voice chats which was a no no annd well the online aspect of it all wasn't really ready on the console.

that reminds me I still have both outbreak 1 and 2!

Well said. Virtually no way to save was a horrible design choice. One of the first bosses I couldn't defeat or even injure so I gave up.

The only thing I ever hated about Outbreak is there was no use of the mics and even though everyone complained about that, Capcom STILL didn't add it in on Outbreak 2.

Resident Evil outbreak 1 and 2... Hell YES!!! I'm going to start the Fatal Frame trilogy soon while I'm at it I'm going to play Outbreak 1 and 2!!!

The game was ahead of its time...
I think this is THE game that they should remaster since there's still a lot they can improve on it being Fully 3D and everything.
Not to mention the co-op online multiplayer aspect of it,improve that and it's a sure hit!
While RE remake was already a classic and the best of what capcom back in the day and really can't improve much.
I think i was one of the people who petitioned for Outbreak file#3,years ago.

I grew up with Playstation. Played a lot of RE on PS1. Remakes of PS1 games like New -N- Tasty and RE1 remake is a dream come true and playing New -N- Tasty gave me such joy and great nostalgic feeling that I can't even describe.

So keep those PS1 remakes coming. If you don't like them, don't buy them.
But don't call people tasteless for enjoying these games. They were master pieces back in the day.

So how about you be quiet and enjoy CoD 2848494 or Assassin's Creed 345 because that's the great new games we get.

At least New -N- Tasty and RE HD remake feels like something new and refreshing compared to what we get today constantly.

I can relate to what you're saying, I have 30+ years of gaming under my belt after all and I do appreciate a good offering.

but you must understand that this consumes time and resources and if it becomes a trend the industry will be plagued and suffer a lack of new and imaginative gaming experiences.

RE is iconic, Abe is good and few other games too, but why remaster and remake and HD, why not invest a little more time and make a new game instead?

Most of these HD remakes don't cost as much as a brand new built from the ground up game. A lot of HD remakes are a good way for developers to make some extra money so they can create something new and awesome.

RE7 is in development so we are getting a new game from Capcom.

outbrek was a reasonable game.i think if it was released a little later it would have done well.not every one had a online ps2.pal version didnt have anyone online mode what so ever.so i think the game was a litte miss understood .as every one was use to playing as one player now your playing with others.

This was the best series in all Resident Evil. It was pure survival. You get hit, you're infected. You had to find pills to slow down the infection. As time goes by being infected, you slow down dramatically. When hit at 100%, you still play as a zombie going after your co-op team. The map was enormous as you search for items to all across the map to advance. Everyone had special abilities. David was my man because he could craft items. Only if it had party chat on the PS2. This is my "most underrated" game in the PS2 era. This series "DESERVES" an HD remake hands down.
