Destiny Beta Impressions, after playing Alpha
Destiny is shaping up to become one of the biggest games of the year, as Bungie expanded its classic formula with an online persistent world and RPG elements. They are developing it with a Hollywood budget, celebrity voices, and some extra tracks from Paul McCartney. But there’s some skepticism from critics and gamers, who fear that this game may not actually be fun. Well I took a trip to their torn-up version of Earth back and forth, as I played the Alpha and Beta versions of Destiny and…it’s pretty addictive.
